近所で「にほんごでちいさななつまつり」を開催していました。インドとインドネシアの方たちとの国際交流です。 インドの方が多いのは知っていましたが、インドネシアの方が増えていることは初めて知りました。今はその地域に50組くらい住んでいるそうです。 近々モスクも建てられるということ。 マサラコーン、パステル、エスジェリーを食べて帰りました。子供たちの参加も多く、狭い会場は賑わっていました。一部の日本人と近隣の大学生たちの長年の努力で外国人たちとの共生が徐々に「普通のこと」として受け入れられるようになっているようです。 お疲れ様でした！ There was an event called ‘Small summer festival in Japanese’ in my neighbor. It is an international exchange for Japanese, Indian and Indonesian. I’ve known that we have many Indians near here, but I didn’t know there are Indonesian people too. I heard that about 50 Indonesian families are living in this area. It is said that a mosque is under construction. I know there have been lots of efforts and projects to understand each other’s culture and to get along with foreigners in these 10 years cause I was in charge of international exchange at former office too. But mainly, Japanese who belong to NPO and university students are making efforts to get along with foreigners near here. Hope they can live happily without misunderstanding each other and enjoy the living in Japan.
