After entering the country on a business visa, I have been inspecting projects in Tanzania for the past few days. I've been checking out warehouses, accommodations, and offices, and having tea and casual chats with the chairmen. It is clear that many people here are very strict and do not accept tips. I politely declined some "clever but bad habits". Africa is not just about the heat; it's also genuine. It is clear that the midnight scenery, open-air courtyards, local cuisine and unique culture all deeply attract Chinese people coming to Tanzania. I will be bold yet cautious and stay grounded.
