Today is Christmas, but I can’t really get into the mood. I had a big dinner and cake, and Santa Claus has arrived with a present. I did some Christmas-like activities, but I still feel strange for some reason. Umm, I don't know about the real Christmas, but it feels different somehow. I guess that the strange feelings come from the fact that Christmas isn’t just about events themselves, it includes a lot of cultural and religious elements. I especially started thinking this way by learning about Christmas of foreign countries on this app. I haven’t experienced Christmas that includes religion and culture while growing up, so maybe it can’t be helped that I spend Christmas season with strange feelings. Well, I do like the generous part of Japanese culture, which is “There’s no problem if it’s fun!”
