After a few days of rest, I've made some adjustments to my career path. In doing so, I've gained deeper insights into myself --- and even others. Although we're all different, no one turns away from hope or happiness. People need a sense of security. We need to be understood. We need love. Each of us wants to express what's in our heart --- to be heard, accepted, and respected. We all appreciate beauty --- whether it's art, nature, or music. We crave victory, intimacy, and adventure. It doesn't matter where we come from, or whether our skin is white, yellow, or black. It doesn't matter if we believe in God or not. In the end, whether we are children, adults, or the elderly, everyone values freedom. We all want to make our own choices. I believe these are core human needs. And if we learn to acknowledge these needs when we interact with others, something truly different --- even magical --- might happen. I hope so.
