Between 1956 and 1963, Han Youngsoo told Seoul about the Korean War. His photography is a way to show him, even though he is experiencing great suffering, he will continue to live and is a form of resistance. Nato nel 1933 a Gaeseong, oggi in Corea del Nord, Han si avvicina all'arte da giovanissimo, prima con la pictura, poi con la photography. During the chaos and the intreccio of the event that does not characterize this conflict, it serves as a solution in the first place, without experience that deepens its sensitivity and its security. At its edge I find a profoundly changed quote, and in this new reality I have a vast array of images that are not only a precious visual archive, but also a powerful symbol and "catalyst" of hope. I neglected successive success in fashion and publicity with great success, but it is in this case that I discovered the most authentic part of his work. A thank you to the Han Youngsoo Foundation for allowing me to share the image in progress Catastrophe (@catastrophe.off) and I participated in this part of the story.
