Yesterday, I received a nice Christmas gift from my language exchange partner—a beautiful necklace. We started our language exchange journey together in March this year. She wants to improve her French, while I’m working on my Mandarin. From the very beginning, we got along really well. Our conversations are often filled with laughter, and we have many shared interests, like our love for learning and exploring the world. We both enjoy traveling, and we know how important it is to connect and communicate with others. I feel so thankful for this friendship; I never imagined it would turn out like this. Life gives us so many chances to broaden our horizons, and I will keep cherishing those experiences.
