First time in York — did some hiking, had snacks out in nature, and was lucky enough to soak in the scenery: green fields, wild birds, and the sound of the forest whispering 🌲✨. Got to hear some ghost stories and fascinating facts about the city too: did you know M&S was founded by a Jewish immigrant and started in York? Or that Dracula was “born” there, and some epic scenes from Game of Thrones and Harry Potter were filmed around the city? Also caught up with friends, and today’s bank holiday was such a peaceful and nurturing one — takeaway + essay reading 📚 (student life!). And, confession time… I watched Love is Blind UK for the first time (don’t judge me 😂). I’m not really into reality shows, but as a Psychology student, I was curious about their behaviour — so let’s say it was “field research” 😉. Today was also cleaning day 🧹 before heading to Spain on Wednesday — and my dog has already been picked up while I’m away 🐶💕 here you go a pictures of her and her sister (which live in another house with the person who picked her up). She gonna have a lovely time I know that. In the catch-up I also bumped into a few girls from the York trip at a Spanish event with Latin music… such good vibes! Honestly, I can’t complain, I feel very grateful and would love to repeat it all again. What about your weekend ? Xx By Raquel x
