La historia del mate (Argentina, Uruguay Paraguay etc) tiene sus orígenes en el pueblo guaraní, antes de la conquista y colonización española. Para los guaraníes, la yerba significaba alimento, pero también medicina. Era un regalo de los dioses. Se preparaba en una calabaza llamada “mati”, de esa palabra se deriva el nombre actual. Lo compartían en ronda alrededor del fuego. Con el tiempo, se transformó en una tradición típica de la cultura argentina que perdura hasta hoy. Sinónimo de encuentro y compartir, la ceremonia del mate nos acompaña durante todo el día y en todo momento .......
