We've both changed a lot over time, and I’m no longer as vibrant and optimistic as I once was. Wuhan is a grand and imposing city. Just a few days ago, around 11 p.m., I found myself in the heart of it—and I missed the last metro. As a result, I had to walk 10 kilometers to get home. Along the way, I wandered through this massive forest of steel and concrete, fully exposed to the scale and silence of the night. This city has given me moments of joy, but also periods of sorrow. I appreciate its grandeur, yet deep down, I know—I don’t truly belong here.
