Each candidate scored above Band 6, and I thought they all sounded like native speakers. However, the examiners pointed out several mistakes and gave advice on how to improve their scores. I found their feedback very helpful for figuring out effective study methods. After watching those videos, one was automatically recommended to me on the YouTube app. It was a parody of an IELTS speaking test by two comedians. In it, the candidate spoke broken English, used only simple words, and on top of that, he couldn’t answer properly. It was really funny, but I imagined that if I took the test myself, I might not be able to speak much better than him. 今日は久々にMIBを英語字幕で見て、相変わらず全然聞き取れないわぁと、しょんぼりしてたところ、YouTubeをみはじめたら、IELTSのテスト風景？の動画がおすすめで出てきまして。実際高得点の人ってどのくらいペラペラなのかなぁと見ていたら、6以上の人は、私からしたらもはやネイティブじゃない？て感じでした。 いくつか見終わった後、YouTubeのアプリでおすすめにIELTS 0.0ってサムネの芸人さんがやってるIELTSテストのパロディ動画が出てきて、これがとっても面白かったのですが、ふっと我に返って、私も実際テスト受けたら、この方より話せない可能性あるな、と容易に想像できてしまいました🥹 まぁ受けたりしないけど(なんて呼んだらいい？って聞かれた瞬間、フリーズする笑) ## Learning Language **Japanese** ## Topics #104 #102156 #102710 ## Metadata -
