I have found a 4-syllable word with nearly identical pronunciation in both Tamil and Japanese languages but with different meanings. I feel 2-syllable words exist in two different languages with the same sound/pronunciation whether with same/different meaning is common. But this is something unique, and the word is "KANNAGI" Kannagi (கண்ணகி) in Tamil is a legendary figure from the Tamil epic Silappatikaram. She is celebrated as the epitome of chastity and virtue. Kannagi (かんなぎ / 神薙) in Japanese has spiritual and mystical connotations. It generally refers to a Shaman or Spiritual Medium (神薙) – Someone who communicates with gods or spirits, often associated with purification rituals. One interesting similarity is that though the word is not strictly gendered, Kannagi is more commonly associated with females in both Japanese & Tamil cultures/folklores. I have found another word with 50-60% pronunciation match due to rhythmic resemblance which is only 3-syllable. I will share the word someother day. have you come across any similar interesting thing?
