Are we afraid of getting old? Or should the right question be: Do we become more intelligent as we age? When we were young and inexperienced, we weren't fully aware of the consequences of our actions. How many times did we miss the boat? How many "what ifs" did we not consider? We justified our failures by repeatedly convincing ourselves that we weren't playing with a full deck. Yet why don't we still learn from our previous mistakes? Why do we get stuck on thin ice? Until we found out that we're drowning because the things we've gotten used to have been drastically changing. We couldn't have been quick on the draw. We could have done better. And we think the only choice we have is to pull the plug, but it's not as simple as ABC. We can't escape reality. We should move forward, not backward. We should aim high and not fall down. We must harness our remaining energy, time, and resources to make our lives more fulfilling. #No more procrastination #No more wasting of time #Learn some idioms
