This is so awkward 😳🫣 I had the impression that "당신" is just a very respectful way to speak to people like "thou" or "thee", after 2 people referred to me in that way on messages here 😳😳 Apologies to anyone I referred to with this.. Can anyone show me the nearest rock I can crawl under?! How come no one corrected me?? 😩This is such an awkward moment 🫣🫣😅😅😅 Here are some Embarrassment idioms, for me to deal with becoming red as a beet (=blushing): * I want to put a foot in my mouth = being really embarrassed by something you said, so much that you want to shove a foot in your mouth - metaphorically. * You made a spectacle of yourself = it was a bit much - what ever that person did was exaggerated and got everyone's attention. * She wanted the ground to open up and swallow her whole = being so embarrassed that one wanted to disappear completely.
