Fun Egyptian Slang! Have you ever heard an Egyptian say: "في المشمش" (Fel meshmesh)? It literally means “in the apricot season”, but what it really means is… “When pigs fly” or “In your dreams”! 😄 Why? Because apricot season in Egypt is super short — it’s here today, gone tomorrow So if someone says something will happen "fel meshmesh," they mean it’s never gonna happen 😂 especially when parents use it 😅 Example: Me: “Do you think my boss will give me a raise this month?” Friend: “في المشمش!” Me: Cries in Arabic 😄 Have you heard similar expressions in your language? Let's share your favourite slang 😁
