Like an immediate bad feeling. “When Joe saw the girl he had a crush on kissing another guy, it was a kick in the stomach.” Another expression for a feeling when hit with big news: “Hit me like a ton of bricks” “I was having a pretty good day. But when the hospital called and said my mother was in a car accident, it hit me like a ton of bricks.” Ok, I hope those make sense.😁 ————————————————————— Ok question time. Is there any difference between 「僕の名前は____です」と「私は___です」❓ “My name is_____” and “I am ______” Is one just more casual than the other? ————————————————————— Walter is doing a lot better.
