Summary: We are seeking a talented and experienced Civil Structural Designer to join our company to execute civil and structural design projects related to heavy industrial facilities under the leadership of a Senior Designer. This will include organization and planning of the overall design effortwith minimal oversight, and the limited mentoring of junior designers and draftsmen. Key Responsibilities • Ensure design compliance with respective client/ company specification and codes. • Develop civil/structural 3D models and 2D extractions under minimal supervision utilizing AutoCAD and CADWorx. • Knowledgeable of basic civil material specifications to the extent that all information required for material purchase, fabrication and construction is reflected on the finished drawings. ⁷ Perform field related work collecting design information and verifying designs for tie-ins, function and clearances to existing facility. • Perform field support activities, where assigned, for engineering support during construction.
