I opened a voice room where we talked about some philosophical topics. We explored questions like: • How can we express abstract concepts in simple ways? • What is the connection between existence and essence? • How can we introduce mathematical concepts to children and help them understand them easily? We even shared our views on faith and belief. But during the conversation, I noticed something: Most of the time, each of us was speaking from our own perspective without really listening to others. We became too focused on defining abstract ideas, and the discussion almost lost its direction. Fortunately, despite the lack of true interaction, no one attacked anyone else's views. We shared peacefully and respected one another. I truly appreciated that atmosphere of open-mindedness and mutual respect. Now that I've reflected on the experience, I feel I can do something next time to help guide the rhythm of the conversation. Maybe I can ask more connecting questions, or summarize others' points to help people feel heard. I want to help those who are interested in deep topics not only speak, but also gain something new and meaningful. As Francis Bacon once said: "Reading maketh a full man; conference a ready man; and writing an exact man." I hope that by continuing to read, discuss, and write, I can grow into a wiser and more thoughtful person. ## Images 1.
