Mt. Takao ① Mt. Takao is a 599meter high mountain located in Tokyo. Thanks to its easy access,you can get there directly from Shinjuku without changing trains and its rich natural environment, it is one of the most popular hiking and trekking spots in Japan. Since ancient times, it has been revered as a “sacred mountain (reizan),”👻 and there is a famous temple called “Yakuoin” near the summit. But I ended up only taking pictures of the tengu statues and completely forgot to take photos of Yakuoin itself😅👺😅
