Tip for Spanish beginners: Agreement in gender and number in Spanish language. You need to understand that in our language, while redacting a sentence, you need to be careful and make sure that you are using the correct gender, person and number for most of the parts of the sentence, except for adverbs, prepositions, and more (because they won't change). A small explanation about those terms: Gender: Feminine and masculine. Number: Singular or plural. Lemme show you with three examples (in pairs), the first sentence will be incorrect and the second one will be the accurate: 1.Es una vehículo azules. Es un vehículo azul. It’s a blue vehicle. In this case the word “vehículo” (vehicle) is masculine and singular. 2.La casa de tus padres son muy pequeños. La casa de tus padres es muy pequeña. Your parents’ house is very small. In this case “la casa” gives number and gender: feminine and singular (for the adjective and also the verb). By the way, notice the adverb “muy” isn't changing at any time. 3.Fabiola y Marta vive en Dresde. Fabiola y Marta viven en Dresde. Fabiola and Marta live in Dresden. In this case, “Fabiola y Marta” make a plural noun together, then the conjugation will be also plural (there, gender is not used). Notice that “en” is always the same, anywhere (it's a preposition). Hope you understood at least a bit with those basic examples. Of course they're just to start with Spanish, there will be more difficult sentences, but you already have some common patterns here.
