japanese companies are insane. i'm renting an instrument for two weeks that I'm back in my hometown. I called one company and asked, no problem. once I am ready to pay, they email to inform me, that because I'm renting from "middle of the month" (= december 24th LOL) until january 7, they will consider this as "two months rental" and bill me accordingly. two months for less than two weeks. i emailed them back saying I will never use their service again. the only way to stop this kind of insanity is to vote with your wallet.
