Are young men living at home because they’re not working? Or

are they not working because they’re living at home? Hard to say, but either way, the trends are clear: More American males aged 25-34 are living in a parent’s home, and fewer are participating in the labor force.

@Joey It gave two options. “But either way” means that it doesn’t matter which option is true, because the following statement applies to both situations.

@Bulma Probably a number of things. People are getting married at a later age. It is more difficult to find a good job that pays enough to rent or buy a house in cities.

@Joey Yes, similar. You could say “But whatever the case,…” to make it fit with proper grammar.

@David B. That doesn't look good at all, if yount men are not working, retired gringos wont travel, tourism in latin countries will suffer a lot. I'm a latin from Costa Rica and our first entry of money is tourism....no sé si se dice entry jaja ENTRADA de dinero...

@David B. How so? Our countries live in social wars now against comunism, and facing the worse moment in economics because of high paying taxes laws and international loans, the unemployment has increased like I have ever seen it before and with this the crime and narcotráfico. Plus we dont have the Police you have, you are lucky.

It shows the employment is not good. In the meanwhile, young men are not willing to choose hard work.

@David B. My country is almost as expensive as yours but with the difference that our salary is paid in COLONES not in dollars. Gringos need to read first until take a decision about leaving the country, just think this if our countries are better why latins dont care even croos your borders trying to get there?

You might be surprised to learn that in Thailand, if you are over 35 years old, there are almost no companies that accept jobs

I’m Chinese female aged 25-34.😄 If I work in a city where my parents are living in, I will live in my parents’ home. Otherwise, I will rent a room or even buy one if I have enough money.
