English lesson: present continuous/ progressive 
  
 Form: subject
 + verb 'be' + verb ~ing form It is used when you started something in the past, are still doing it, and it hasn't finished.
Example:
"Now" examples
I am wearing a Christmas suit.
* I put it on in the morning
* I have it on now
* I'll take it off later
She is drinking a coffee.
* She bought the coffee in the past
* It's not finished
"Long term" examples
They are studying English.
* They started in the past
* It's not finished
* Note that they DO NOT need to be doing it right now. It can be a long term activity.
She is reading Great Expectations.
* She started in the past
* She's not finished it
* She doesn't need to be reading it now, but it is the book she is reading.
