I have a bit of English slang for you today!

The slang is “knocked up” this means a woman who is coping with an unplanned pregnancy- typically someone who is very young or unmarried.

For example: Me friend was knocked up by her boyfriend last month and she hasn’t seen him since.

Please keep in mind this is typically not seen as a polite term and is not usually something used openly around the woman as it often brings feeling of shame for the woman.
