“I have a history of making decisions very quickly about men

. I have always fallen in love fast and without measuring risks. I have a tendency not only to see the best in everyone, but to assume that everyone is emotionally capable of reaching his highest potential. I have fallen in love more times than I care to count with the highest potential of a man, rather than with the man himself, and I have hung on to the relationship for a long time (sometimes far too long) waiting for the man to ascend to his own greatness. Many times in romance I have been a victim of my own optimism.”

Exactly~ The faster you fall in love, the more you need to step back and think about that love calmly. The reason beautiful and wise girl often fall for bad guys is that they are defenseless against an emotionally active dash and crave fantasies like movies or novels. Every woman should have a serious encounter that takes into account both dating and actual marriage.

What is the Western view of love? I just guess. I have experienced countless lonely old people coming out of the nursing center, and they need the help of young people who they didnt know to get in the car and go home. They keep talking all the way. Too lonely, some of them have no children and no other half. The US government can pay for the health of an old man, but there is no way to soothe their lonely soul. It is actually very pitiful. One’s independence is important, but everything has two sides. Living in the present and having fun in time will sometimes pay a price.....Americans divorce rate is 50%.....😓😓😓

@David I can’t speak for US and all British, however, the view on love is nothing short of quick love , heart break and feelings of being in love again. - for me traditionally I love the entire aspect of being with the one person for many many years- marriage is marriage long term. Not everyone like the old traditional relationship style, we are very independent, we also don’t stay at home and do everything whilst the men go to work- we are solely responsible and independent as both parties to the relationship. Many women are lonely ( and men ) and will almost jump into relationship right after one another because they feel they’re getting old. I guess I actually don’t know other peoples perspectives on love and relationships, it would be interesting to know what they think.

@Llena “No one to rely on”becomes a very serious social problem in modern times. I can’t help thinking of the romantic scenes in the movie. When the priest presides over the wedding, he will ask the two how do you like each other? Both parties answered I vow.....really..... I just read what you posted, and suddenly I got feeling.....⛄
