Idiom of the Day:
“Dragging your feet”

When you don’t want to

do something and put off doing it, we will say you are “dragging your feet.” It is like walking slowly while scraping your feet on the ground, or someone pulling you forward as you resist. If you want an example of this, ask your children to clean their room. I am sure they will “drag their feet!” 😂

“I haven’t been to the dentist for two years. I need to stop dragging my feet and make an appointment.”

@clara your speaking is very clear with almost no accent. You almost sound like a native speaker. This is very impressive!

@Sign everything was good! But “scraping” is said with a hard A sound. You said “scrapping,” which means to recycle. It also is slang for “to fight someone.”
