Toughen up. I’ve been working in the “hagwon” industry for the past 4 years, and take it from me. There is no such thing as “loyalty” in the business. Keep applying, weigh your options, join a community, gather info. Trust me, the 원장s can’t teach, they have nothing to do with teaching, other than just being in the industry. They are there to sell the program. Don’t be fooled by the facade. They are basically a salesman. Treat it like a business, you are in the job market, you are going to be applying over and over and over, again and again and again until you drop down your tier of expectations. Also, another word of advice, if it’s just for the money, yeah, great, otherwise, “hagwon” is not a safe bet. Won’t do anything for your career. Especially English, not in this day and age. This will be hopefully my final year in the industry and then I am out for good.
