Fortune Teller by Li Zhiyi.

I live at the head of the Yangtze

River,
You live at it's mouth
I think of you constantly but never see you
Though we drink the same Yangtze River
When will this river rest?
When will my pain end?
If your feelings are just the same as mine,
We'll never stop longing for each other.

@cl Too bad they didn't have internet in those days. They could have used a map app to find each other.

Maybe both hate and love I have, but seldom pain. The hate I have is beacuse of the love. hate the river and distance apart us, but the river connects us meanwhile . The river would never rest, my love and hate would not stop either. What a unnocent and pretty fairy tale.

Cannt believe that you've forgotten where I live Actually I don't live at its mouth.but at its tail.😂 we're tooo far apart for a tooo long time. That's how this poem come out. Long-distance- love poem.
