I now have this whole series of books. This is a simplified version

of “Journey to the West” (西遊記). Reading them all will definitely improve my chinese level a lot!

I think it will help to improve your Chinese, but honestly speaking, those books are really have horrible Chinese translations based on the names of each book. You can read them for fun, but don’t take them serious as literary works. Good luck!
