Hi guys, English moment tonight because meh, I'm tired. I'd show off the best photos I took this week. Sorry if you've seen them already. Consider this a cultural lesson about my hometown and Kiwi culture if anything.
This shot was overexposed and taken on top of Mt Vic. Usually people come here to take photos of themselves jumping on these cute little mushroom air vents. I decided to try something different and I like the weird effect it gives off.
2-Onward and Upward
I think this displays Auckland's current state right now. We have old Colonial institutions on one side and the unknown rapid rate of land development on the other side. Even during this crazy year a large amount of properties have been sold and buildings have been knocked down in Auckland city.
3-Vivacious View from Mt Vic
I think I got lucky with this pic? I'm not sure but what I do know is that I'm lucky to live where I do with a view like this. I hope if you're reading this that you can come here someday too.
Another lucky shot, I didn't even see the couple on their electric scooters on the right until I came home to work on the pics. I simply liked the light and dark contrast from the warm lights on the right.
This is Lake Road in Devonport, it's the only way out of Devonport by car and traffic is a major issue. In accidentally kicking my tripod I solved the traffic issue by creating another lane 😅.
6-The Big Blue Giant
ANZ isn't the biggest Giant (Financial giant) in NZ anymore but it's a giant nevertheless.
This photo is more a reminder for me to enjoy the feeling of taking photos instead of playing around with settings like a madman all the time.
Another contrasted shot that I liked. It has "dark notes" to it and I figured it was a good enough name. Auckland city has a lot of weird but cool clouds.
