make sure you're careful when arranging a place to stay! 🚔

It's important that you get a written contract from your landlord to avoid any problems when you leave or during your visit. ✍️

Recently my Japanese friend who lived in London got into a bad situation. When he returned to Tokyo from his house share, the landlord refused to return his deposit money. I think he can eventually get the money back, but it won't be easy and he might have to go to court to do it!

To avoid something similar always make sure you get a contract and ask a friend to check it! 📜
