I started a new language today 😅. I might not study all the time

, but I’m interested in learning new phrases. How does it look?

@Yuemin @Ashen Nope 😋 Indonesia “Hello, how are you?” in Spanish would be “Hola. ¿Cómo estás?”

Wah hebat ..! Fyi... in indonesia, people use to speak unformal indonesia language like “tidak” become “enggak”/“ga”/“kagak”. Indonesia has a lot of culture and local language that affect their accent. Tetap semangat belajar bahasa indonesia ya 😊

@Felicia It’s only day one 😅. There’s a lot to learn and since I won’t be using a textbook, just learning from phrases, I’ll often ask for input on what is the most common way to say some phrases. Still, what you said is true in every language. Each language is spoken differently by the local people depending on where they are from, and it’s definitely different when it’s used in informal situations. It’ll be hard for me to learn that without asking Indonesian people to check my work. So I will be sure to ask questions often 🙂

@Shelby In Singapore, most only can speak 2 languages fluently—English being the main language and a mother tongue. Singaporean Malays speak Malay, but I was born in Indonesia and educated there for awhile so I only know how to speak Indonesian and not Malay. Although they're both similar, there are still some differences in the diction, pronunciations, and accents. I prefer Indonesian accent tbh. No offense to anyone. 😅😂

@不吃海鲜的小哥 yes I know what you mean. I watched some videos about the similarities and differences between Bahasa Indonesian and Malay spoken in Singapore or Malaysia. If I have some questions about Indonesian, I will ask you , ok? 🙏🏽

@Shelby no problem! You can ask me about Mandarin, too. I think my Japanese level is about the same as yours though 😂
