Birthday trip with my friend 😊 💙 to Taos, New Mexico 💙

Completely

safe area, extremely small town with unique buildings and culture. If visiting be aware that shops are open late between 9-11am and closes early from 6pm-9pm. Almost all their restaurants need reservations (not sure bc of covid or not) but food isn't that great in my opinion.

If visiting do eat breakfast at Michael's bakery, they have the best viva la France toast and cheesecake! Food from $9-15, bakery $1-5.

The Asian restaurant was better than the Mexican restaurant we went to, which I was disappointed on them honestly. 🤦🏻‍♀️🤷🏻‍♀️

Gift shops are cute but pretty expensive. I only buy hats ($17) and fridge magnets ($6)

Weather was between 20 degrees (f) to 56(f.). Def need thermals and good jacket or thick sweater. Snow boots if going to the snow area for pictures. Note in town there's no snow at this time just up in the mountains or other areas away from the town (After April it gets hot and there's no more snow activities but do have horse back riding)

Snow mobiling is $90 for adults and with a child $135sh for 2hr trip up the mountain, which by the way was amazing! I wish I could post videos but it was breathtaking for sure! 😍💙❄️🌨️⛄🥰

Definitely, heavy pressure due to the elevation and thin air so walking up hill makes it hard to breath so walk slow if you're not use to it like us 😅 but nothing interfere with our activities or window shopping 💙🛍️👀

April is a great time to come bc it's not as pack and weather is much less than in jan and Feb where I've heard Ppl get face burn. Not sure if this is true but heard from previous friends who came during that time.

Overall great experience will come back next year 😁
