Falling pink petals,
Ushering in Spring,
Dancing in the wind

.

降ってる花、
お春を迎え、
風に舞う。

(this is my first attempt at a Haiku in Japanese, please let me know if it works! I really doubt it does haha)

@Uni ohhh thank you! Then... To keep the haiku style, how about "春を迎えし"?

@Momo oh nice! I didn't think of 散! For a Haiku, it needs to be 5 もら correct? So would it be better to say "散らす花"? What is ゆく?

@Josh yes, you are right Haiku is composed of 3 lines, the first has 5 sounds, the second 7 and the third 5. But it’s ok to be 6. It’s called extra syllables ゆくhas the nuance falling down slowly
