Psychologist Carol Dweck coined the term "growth mindset." She

coined this term, along with its opposite: "fixed mindset." A fixed mindset is one where you assume your character, intelligence and creative ability are static things that you can't change in any meaningful way. The danger of having a fixed mindset is that, if you believe something is fixed (for example your intelligence) it has negative consequences for how you learn.

There’s no much problem with having fixed mindset as long as it’s open, glass half full and be sensible to facts, not just to stereotypes.

It is a dilemma. As an grownup, if you change your mindset easily, people may judge you as having no faith and perseverance.
