A Good Egg

"It's nice

that your husband helps your mother-in-law to do her shopping... he's a real good egg!".

"A good egg" can be used when you want to describe someone as a good or reliable person.

"You're a good egg for helping me with my homework!"

"You should go out with Matt, he is a real good egg!"

Now it's your turn! Try describing someone as a "good egg" and I'll correct all your mistakes! :)

    @ShiZi I think that's a great example! We usually use it when someone's like it all the time :) so you could say "Have you noticed changes in Paul over the last few years? He used to be unreliable but now his a really good egg"

    @Saúl i consider myself to be a good egg.. That's a great example! We usually say it about someone else to avoid sounding boastful! But you can still say it about yourself 😅 good job Saúl!
