How do I celebrate Easter? On Easter, eggs are taken at a park. Inside the eggs are candies and chocolates. There were many children in the park. It seemed like a war/battle.

    How do we celebrate Easter? On Easter, we go to the park, hide some eggs, and grab those eggs. Inside the eggs are candy and chocolate. At the park, there were so many kids. It was like a war zone or a battle.

    I'm not a Christian.But,I've studied how Easter is. Egg is a symbol of fertility and prosperity. All these pictures are interesting and photogenic😊.Especially,egg-shaped plastic balls.😃I didn't know the American-style Easter. Kids in the park look very very vigorous.

    @TOMOTAKA Easter is about the resurrection of Jesus Christ. I put that on my Moment, but HelloTalk kept blocking my Moment. I see that egg description on the internet, too, but I just briefly saw it and I didn’t know about the eggs beforehand. This is the Easter egg hunting that happened recently and was pretty much the same when I was kid in America. Yes, the kids looked and were very, very vigorous. I had to watch out because they could push me down. 😓

    @a a Oh,sadly, you had such a thing about your post in this app. Personally, some explanations for religion help me understand the language I'm learning. Don't mind. I have two daughters. And every time they play in the park near my house,I always watch them out as you do.😁

    @a a 七転び八起き is read “ななころび やおき”. It’s a famous Japanese saying. It literally means “fall down seven times and get up eight times”. It means like “never give up!!”.

    イースターの日は、公園に「卵」を持っていきます。since "the eggs" are not real, 「」are necessary. Or you could also say おもちゃの卵(=the egg shaped toy).

    卵のなかにお菓子とチョコレートがあります。

    「卵」(のなか)にはお菓子とチョコレートがはいっています。the inside ___ is ____ = ___(のなか)には____がはいっている。

    公園にたくさん子供がいました。

    公園にたくさん子供がいました。👍

    戦い(たたかい)みたいでした。

    @CHiHARu.Uninstalled You’re correct; I am taking a break from Japanese to focus on teaching English. But it seems that learning Japanese, the other person’s language, can help in the English teaching process, I wonder? Thank you for your corrections! I still accept these corrections and I do appreciate them. 😌 Since it was recently Easter, I wanted to share this Moment before too much time had passed. Thanks again!

    @nora -I don’t like slang, too (even English slang (however, I like idioms)). I’ll focus slang last.😌 -Thanks for complementing my Japanese! 😌 I recorded an audio message because I was inspired by many HelloTalk users doing it too. And recording and getting feedback from people might help getting used to and to become comfortable speaking a language, right? 😌
