Easter may be the largest Western holiday many Asians don't know

about. It's the most important religious celebration for Christians and commemorates the day when Jesus Christ was resurrected from the dead, allowing all people to be saved one day. In addition, it's a huge secular holiday as well. Parents tell their little children that the Easter Bunny will bring baskets of eggs, candy and chocolate if they are good. Families dye eggs with bright colors. They are hidden and children have an Easter Egg Hunt to find them. Recently, they even have egg drops from helicopters where plastic eggs containing chocolate or candy are dropped and children scramble to find them.

Yeah, we don’t know about that very much. I’m not sure why are rabbits and eggs in Easter? Rabbit never born from egg.....🤔🤔🤔

@YUKO Both eggs and rabbits symbolize fertility and Christ coming back was like a rebirth.

in Ukraine, we don’t have such tradition with eggs and rabbits. Also here eggs have a more religious meaning🐣
