6 years ago today I climbed Fuji-san! 🏔

It was one of the best

things I’ve ever done but most Japanese people tell me they’ve never done it! Have any of you guys?

I was surprised!

I heard there’s a Japanese proverb that goes along the lines of “a wise man climbs Fuji once, only a fool climbs it twice.”

I’m a bit of a fool so I’d love to do it again!🙌😂

    @syk You can get a great view of Fuji-san from the top too!🙌

    @Liam In that case, I will try Takao-san first😄

    @syk Yes, I’ve done a few! Takao-san is quite easy but there are trickier ones like Oyama-san.

    @syk There are quite a few good mountains in that area and they’re not as difficult as Fuji-san!👌

    You said it. The most tough time was when we came down. Yes, I would like to try another mountain🤣

    @syk It is very exhausting, especially having to come down! 😂 They say a fool climbs it more than once anyway. Well done for doing it!👍

    @Liam Yes, I did. But on the other hand, I was exhausted! I don't want to do it any more🤣

    @Eri Actually my friend got altitude sickness whilst climbing so she had to go down before reaching the top. It can be dangerous so it’s good to be cautious about it!🙇‍♂️

    What a magnificent view! I’ve never climbed Mt. Fuji because I am afraid of altitude sickness.
