雪が降るとき、私はミシガンのホームシックです。木々でとても美しい。私はそれを見て幸せ。

Is there a Japanese

word for homesick? It snows a lot in my hometown in Michigan and rarely snows here in Kansas. Because of that, whenever it snows I tend to get a little homesick. Even though it makes me kind of sad, it also makes me really happy because I love snow and winter time. It’s a complicated feeling!! It’s especially beautiful when the snow sticks to the trees like this.

Japanese also say the feeling as "homesick". Michigan is a sister city of my prefecture. My sister has an experience to stay Michigan for a few weeks. And there is the Japan center for Michigan Universities.
