イルミネーションは和製英語で、日常会話で使いません。
Illumination is Wasei-eigo and we don't use it in daily conversation

大抵の場合、イルミネーションではなく、lightsと言います。
In most cases, we say lights instead.

クリスマスなので、christmas lightsを言っても妥当です。
Since it's christmas, you can also say christmas lights.

個人的に、他の飾りもあるので、christmas decorationsと言うと思います。
Personally, since there are other decorations as well, I think I would say christmas decorations.

しかし、大抵の場合はlightsだけを言います。
However, in most other cases I would just say lights.

例えば、江ノ島のイルミネーションって聞いたことあります。
For example, I have heard people say the illumination of Enoshima before.

江の島のことよく分からないけど、ちょっと画像を見ると、またlightsそれともlight show(ライトショーがあれば)と言うでしょう
I don't know too much about Enoshima, but taking a look at some pictures, I would say the lights of Enoshima, or the light show (if there is one) of Enoshima
