    I am getting used to learning Lucky' s English so I surely think she has special abilities to make us addicted to her. who can save us from Lucky's magic world? I often miss the time I was used to living in a quite and calm place. Where is our prince/ princess to rescue poor us? (I am kidding, Magician Lucky! ^^)

    @Lucky 王乐乐 In the King's English British UK grammar it was not was used. But later It appeared in English in the early 13th century with the meaning of “act of employing” or as we might say somewhat circularly, “act of making use of” something. It entered English from Anglo-French and Old French with the sense of “custom, practice, usage,” etc. Abit of history there for our English learners.

  • Lucky 王乐乐 Lifetime VIP

  • Lucky 王乐乐 Lifetime VIP

    @Alexander アレックサンダー correct
  • Lucky 王乐乐 Lifetime VIP

    @Angela_中英文辅导 oh sorry about that Angie you’re correct “ I use to go to the beach every Sunday and I haven’t got (not gotten) used to staying alone .
  • Nin Jah

    That is only used in Past tense, and can be either positive or negative. But grammatically not a proper way of expressing a old habit or action. But it has been accepted into the English grammar text.
