📚I saw someone asking about phrasal verbs yesterday, so here

goes📚:

Bring up - to mention a topic - "why did you bring up such a depressing topic"

Call off - cancel - "call off the meeting, I'm busy"

Cut it out - stop - "Cut it out mate, I'm sick of your whinging"

Do over - repeat - "I asked for a do over, they said no"

Fill out - complete a form - "they asked me to fill out a form"

Give up - surrender/quit - "Did you give up yet?"

Hang out - relax - "She asked if I wanted to hang out, but I was busy"

Make up - lie - "He made it up to sound cool"

Put off - delay - "He put off the date, because he was nervous"

Set up - arrange - "My sister loves setting up the table for Christmas dinner"

Take off - remove - "Please take off your shoes indoors"

Turn up - increase volume - "Turn up the volume, I can't hear what she's saying"
