Standing at the base of Takakkaw Falls
was memorable. The real challenge was to keep my lens dry to have a clear picture and withstanding the breezy wind near the falls. 😅 After trekking 4.5km north of Takakkaw Falls, we reached another falls; Laughing Falls. The trail was quite simple with a steep mountain slope near the end of the trail. As my first hiking experience, I thought I would give up midway.. But no pain no gain right? 🤔
The real objective was to reach Twin Falls, which is about 4km farther from Laughing Falls. Unfortunately, we had to give up because it started raining. Huge grey clouds started to hide away the dazzling sun.
Will we reached Twin falls? Our legs were telling us to give up.

*Quick Lesson*
**Takakkaw:
Canada's 2nd highest falls, 254 meters tall. Takakkaw means "Wonderful". It was indeed "Takakkaw" at the base of the falls. If you look carefully, the water falls 4 times before reaching the bottom.
**Laughing Falls:
It got the name from the way it illuminated the area. It somehow brightened up it's surrounding.
