In English we have a rule, “i before e except after c” to help
you learn how to spell. It’s ie a lot of the time:fierce, believe, friends, mischievous, die
But it becomes ei after a c:
receive, deceive, receipt, ceiling
Although there are many exceptions:
caffeine, policies, either, neighbour
Generally this rule is quite useful and helped me when I was younger :) anyone have similar rhymes or sayings in your language?
