In English we have a rule, “i before e except after c” to help

you learn how to spell. It’s ie a lot of the time:
fierce, believe, friends, mischievous, die

But it becomes ei after a c:
receive, deceive, receipt, ceiling

Although there are many exceptions:
caffeine, policies, either, neighbour

Generally this rule is quite useful and helped me when I was younger :) anyone have similar rhymes or sayings in your language?

M devant MBP in French. If you have a nasal sound (an en in on un) just before an M, a B or a P, the N becomes an M. Une ambulance (both am and an are pronounced the same here) Un employé Un timbre Un plombier Can't find one with UN 😅 but you get the picture
