いつも日本を楽しんでいる。。。でもたぶん朝は大変ですね。昨日英人の友達は私のアパートに来た。。。4時行った。まだ疲れた。

Life in Japan has been great so far. I thought I’d lose weight with a Japanese diet but actually that hasn’t happened at all. I should be less indulgent, but exciting opportunities always lead me to new foods - and old food. I had nachos yesterday! 🥘

I’d love to improve my Japanese language skills but all of my functional memory is dedicated to the hundreds of names I want to memorise for work - i think it’s essential to remember names, especially students. Ones own name is the sweetest sound.

Shout out to The Australian Pub in Shinsaibashi which is a stunning modern establishment that specialises in Australian stuff. My friend and I thought it was the embassy when we walked past!
