This would be an awesome post but it has one problem. In your audio, you pronounced something closer to the "e" in "bet", maybe somewhat close to the "a" in "bate". It didn't sound to me like the "i" in "bit", at all. But your second audio was perfect. As far as I could tell from #2, you're probably a native speaker. Maybe your Spanish is so good that you forget how to pronounce English vowels while you're speaking Spanish??? Maybe you speak a dialect of English that changes this vowel in some contexts and therefore didn't notice the change?

@F e l i x that sounds perfectly normal. The one that didn't was the vowel sound you made in the middle of speaking Spanish. Maybe because you were speaking Spanish it influenced how you produced even vowels intended to be English vowels. I'm wondering if when your mind is in "Spanish mode", you've made such a complete mental shift that it affects your English vowels? Can you listen to your first recording and tell me if the examples of English vowels sound normal to you?
