It really frustrates me when people laugh at or make fun of people

trying to speak in their language. I know first hand how difficult it is to speak in another language, and all of the trials and tribulations that come along with it. That person is trying their best to talk in another language with people. It means they are smart and can speak more than one language. Don’t demean them for their broken sounding language. Instead, encourage them and let them know you understand them and are there to help if needed.

I always appreciate the effort that people make to learn a new language. and I usually ignore the teasing.

The same problem here. I’ve met such people in my country. The most interesting part, those don’t talk English but they’re keep judging others who’s at least trying to learn it :)

That’s so true. But, I'd said it depend on person. In my language school there's a native English speaker, a young guy. He often jokes about our making mistakes in pronunciation or about the meaning of the sentence. He's so friendly about it. He's not laughing, he's just joking. And at the same time he's the only one who corrects our speaking or accents. With him there's no embarassment at all. And the same time we have Canadian man, who never laughs at us, but we usually confuse with him.

Верно сказано! Я никогда не смеюсь, но сама никак не могу начать говорить, потому что не хочу показывать свои ошибки. Знаю, что глупо, то так вот..
