English Practice: American Culture

Over the weekend, my wife

and I went to a farmer's market. We needed to spend more money than at a supermarket, but the quality of food was much better!

Discussion Questions:

1. Is there anything that you buy that is expensive, but you still love it?

2. What is a farmer's market?

I do not know exactly what is the most expensive thing and which one I love, it may be fish, and has nothing to do with fruit. Farmers' Market: All agricultural products are available in this market, which has a rural character, so to speak.

A farmer's market is农贸市场 in Chinese. Surely I will buy something expensive but I still love it, like food stuffs in Whole Foods store. They are more expensive than things sold in ordinary grocery, but they're better in quality and more healthy, such as organic products.
