You’re probably wondering if I ever met her, the woman with the “mysterious voice.”

Well, after the day I heard her voice for the first time, I searched everywhere to hear it again. But, how could I find someone just based on their voice?

I thought about putting up posters with huge letters saying “Girl with Special Voice Wanted (Heard on July 25th).” But, even if she saw the poster, she would probably think that I was crazy. Who in the right mind would respond to a notice like that?

I also thought about waiting for her at the station between 2:00 pm and 4:00 pm every day, but then I realized how crazy and stupid that was. There was no guarantee that she would pass through the same station. And, even if she did, I wouldn’t be able to recognize her unless she spoke.

Another thought was identifying all the colleges and universities near the station Higashi Hanazono and then going to each one asking random students, but that idea was equally inane.

Luckily, not too long after, somehow, she came to me, and that’s how we actually met for the first time.
